Dell Latitude 7390 2-in-1 Convertible

The Dell Latitude 7390 is a 13.3-inch 2-in-1 convertible laptop built for mobile professionals. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8650U processor with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 128 GB NVMe SSD.

Suits users needing a portable touchscreen device

This system suits users who want a lightweight touchscreen device running Windows 10 Pro for daily productivity. Buyers who need more storage capacity or a discrete graphics card for intensive creative workloads should look at other configurations.

128 GB NVMe SSD and 8 GB soldered memory

The single specification that decides fit is the 128 GB NVMe SSD paired with 8 GB of soldered DDR4 memory. Neither the storage nor the memory can be upgraded after purchase, so the available capacity is fixed at the point of sale.

Questions about this item

What speed does the USB 3.1 Gen 1 port cap at in practice?

USB 3.1 Gen 1 runs at up to 5 Gb/s, so large file transfers hit that ceiling.

What physical space does the M.2 128 GB NVMe SSD need to fit?

It uses a standard M.2 2280 slot inside the chassis; no 2.5″ bay or caddy is involved.

How is Windows 10 Pro installed, and what step do people skip?

The OS ships pre-installed; the step often missed is completing the first-boot setup and running Windows Update before installing apps.
