Professional 2-in-1 convertible

The Dell Latitude 7390 is a 13.3 inch flip-design notebook built for mobile professionals who need a touch-enabled Windows 10 Pro device with a quad-core Intel Core i7-8650U processor, 8 GB of onboard DDR4 memory and a 1 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD in a compact black chassis.

Touchscreen flexibility for mobile work

It suits users who value four display modes — laptop, tent, stand and tablet — plus optional active pen support for note-taking, but buyers who require discrete graphics, user-upgradeable RAM or a larger screen should look at something else.

1 TB NVMe storage capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 1 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD, which determines whether the available space and speed match the workload without relying on secondary drives or cloud offload.

Questions about this item

How do I install the optional active pen so it attaches magnetically to the 13.3" chassis?

The active pen enabled by Wacom technology attaches magnetically to the side of the 2-in-1; simply align it with the magnetic strip on the chassis edge and it will snap into place for storage and charging.

What maintenance will the 8 GB DDR4 RAM and 1 TB NVMe SSD require over time?

The 8 GB DDR4 RAM is soldered onboard and cannot be upgraded; the M.2 NVMe SSD can be replaced by removing the bottom cover, but no user-serviceable memory slots exist.

At what point does the Intel UHD Graphics 620 throttle during sustained 4.2 GHz Turbo Boost loads?

Under prolonged heavy workloads the quad-core i7-8650U will hit thermal limits first, causing the CPU to drop below its 4.2 GHz boost clock while the integrated UHD 620 graphics share the same thermal envelope.
