Product identity

The Dell Latitude 7390 is a 13.3 inch business laptop built around an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with 8 GB of memory and a 256 GB SSD. It ships with Windows 10 Pro and targets professionals who need a compact, managed device for office applications and mobility.

Interface limits

The system provides USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, one with PowerShare, a USB Type-C port, HDMI, RJ45 Ethernet, an audio combo jack, uSIM and uSD slots. Wireless connectivity uses 802.11ac Wi-Fi. Graphics are handled by an integrated chip, so external display output depends on the HDMI and Type-C links rather than a discrete GPU.

Deciding specification

The 8 GB of soldered memory and the integrated graphics core set the practical ceiling for multitasking and visual workloads; buyers who need more RAM or dedicated graphics performance should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Which RAM and storage combination does this Latitude 7390 ship with?

It comes with 8GB of memory and a 256GB SSD, the only configuration offered for this model.

What does the 4.2 GHz turbo speed deliver in daily work?

The quad-core i7-8650U hits 4.2 GHz on short bursts, speeding through spreadsheet recalculations and web-app loads before returning to its 1.9 GHz base.

Which USB standard do the Type-A and Type-C ports actually run at?

Both the USB Type-A and Type-C connectors operate at USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5 Gbps), so external SSDs and docks are limited to that bandwidth.
