DELL Latitude 7390 13.3 inch FHD laptop

This new 13.3 inch laptop runs on an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor at 1.9 GHz with 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 256 GB SSD. The 1920 x 1080 non-touch display is driven by Intel UHD Graphics 620. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed.

Suits mobile professionals needing a light 13 inch

Buyers who want a touchscreen, a dedicated graphics card, or more than 256 GB of internal storage should look elsewhere. The integrated graphics and fixed memory limit gaming and heavy creative workloads.

Quad-core i7-8650U with 16 GB DDR4 and 256 GB SSD

The 1.9 GHz quad-core processor, 16 GB of DDR4 memory and 256 GB solid-state drive together define the performance ceiling for office applications and light multitasking.

Questions about this item

How loud does the fan get on the 13.3" Latitude 7390 when the i7-8650U runs at full load for hours?

The compact chassis uses a single fan that spins up under sustained load; typical office work stays quiet, while long renders make the fan audible but not intrusive.

Which cables or docks must I already own to connect two external monitors to the single HDMI port on this 7390?

You need an HDMI cable for one screen and a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter or dock for the second, because the laptop only provides one native HDMI output.

Will the DDR4 memory and 802.11ac Wi-Fi in this 7390 work reliably with a 10-year-old router and older USB 3.0 peripherals?

Yes, the 802.11ac radio falls back to older Wi-Fi standards, and the USB 3.0 ports are backward compatible with earlier USB devices.
