Built for mobile professionals

The Latitude 7420 is a 14-inch laptop designed for professionals who need a compact, reliable machine for daily office tasks, video calls and light content work. It ships with Windows 11 Pro already installed, so it is ready for managed enterprise environments straight out of the box.

32 GB memory and 512 GB SSD headroom

Thirty-two gigabytes of RAM gives comfortable headroom for heavy multitasking, large spreadsheets and multiple browser tabs without hitting swap. The 512 GB solid-state drive holds the operating system, applications and a solid working set of files, though users with extensive local media libraries or large project archives will eventually need external storage.

Integrated graphics and no webcam shape the use case

Because the graphics are integrated into the i7-1185G7 processor, the system handles 2D productivity and video playback well but is not suited for 3D rendering, CAD or gaming workloads. The absence of a built-in webcam and Bluetooth means buyers who rely on wireless peripherals or daily video conferencing must add a USB camera and a Bluetooth dongle.
