Business laptop with 12-core processor

The DELL Latitude 7430 is a 14.0-inch laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-1250P with 12 cores and 16 threads. It includes 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and a 512GB NVMe SSD running Windows 11 Pro. This configuration suits professionals handling office workloads, web apps and video calls on a single device.

Thermals and power in daily use

The 12-core processor reaches 4.40 GHz on performance cores and 3.3 GHz on efficient cores, scaling frequency to match workload intensity. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics share system memory, keeping the thermal profile moderate during typical productivity tasks. Thunderbolt 4 ports support power delivery, allowing the included AC adapter to charge the system through USB-C.

Ports and accessories for connectivity

Two Thunderbolt 4 ports provide high-speed data, video output and charging from a single connector. A full-size HDMI port drives an external display without an adapter, while a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port with Powershare charges peripherals even when the laptop sleeps. The microSD card reader and Bluetooth 5.1 support round out wired and wireless expansion for mobile professionals.

Questions about this item

How do I install the operating system on the 512 GB NVMe drive, and what step is often missed?

Boot from Windows 11 Pro installation media, select the NVMe drive, and ensure the Thunderbolt 4 ports are enabled in BIOS for full peripheral support after setup.

What maintenance will the 16 GB LPDDR5 memory and 512 GB NVMe SSD require over time?

The LPDDR5 memory is soldered and requires no user maintenance; the NVMe SSD has no moving parts, so only keep firmware updated via Windows Update.

Which limit appears first during sustained heavy workloads on the i5-1250P with Iris Xe graphics?

The shared system memory for Iris Xe graphics and the 4.4 GHz turbo ceiling on the two P-cores will throttle performance before storage or RAM bandwidth becomes a bottleneck.
