Business ultraportable

The Dell Latitude 7430 is a 14.0 inch laptop built for professionals who need reliable Windows 11 Pro performance in a compact chassis. It runs on a 12-core Intel Core i5-1250P processor with a 4.40 GHz turbo frequency and 16GB of LPDDR5 memory for smooth multitasking. A 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD provides fast storage for applications and files. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics handle everyday visual tasks on the 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch display.

Upgrade from older 8th or 10th Gen ultraportables

Moving to this 12th Gen architecture delivers a clear jump in core count and turbo speed over earlier low-power chips, cutting compile times and heavy spreadsheet recalculations. The Thunderbolt 4 ports add high-bandwidth docking and external GPU options that older USB-C implementations cannot match. If your current machine struggles with 16-thread workloads or lacks modern docking bandwidth, the switch is worthwhile.

Check your docking and peripheral needs

Verify that your existing monitors, docks and cables work with Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI outputs rather than legacy barrel power or DisplayPort-only connections. Confirm that 16GB of soldered LPDDR5 meets your memory ceiling, as the modules are not upgradeable. Ensure the single USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port covers any remaining legacy accessories without a hub. Grade B cosmetic condition means visible scratches or shiny keys are present.
