Ready-to-deploy business notebook

The Dell Latitude 7480 is a 14.0-inch laptop built for professionals who need a compact Windows 10 Pro machine with 32GB DDR4 memory and a 256GB NVMe PCIe SSD. Its Intel Core i5-7300U dual-core processor runs at 2.60 GHz with 3MB L2 cache and integrated Intel HD Graphics 620. The non-touch FHD display delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution in a slim, durable chassis suited for daily office tasks and client meetings.

Suited for mobile workers needing ample RAM

This configuration serves users who travel frequently and rely on generous memory for multitasking across browser tabs, Office apps and video calls. The single USB Type-C port, HDMI output, three USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 cover standard peripheral and display connections. Buyers who require a dedicated GPU for rendering, a touchscreen, or larger local storage should consider other models.

32GB DDR4 soldered memory decides fit

The 32GB DDR4 capacity is the specification that determines whether this unit matches the workload; it cannot be upgraded later. With 256GB NVMe PCIe SSD storage, fast boot and application loading are provided, while the 14.0-inch 1920 x 1080 screen, webcam and microSD reader complete the mobile productivity package. Grade B cosmetic condition means visible scratches or surface marks are present on the lid and screen.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions and mounting-hole pattern for the 256 GB NVMe M.2 SSD so I can confirm it fits the 7480 slot?

The 7480 uses a standard M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe SSD; the installed 256 GB drive follows that form factor and mounts with a single screw at the 80 mm position.

Which screw size and driver type are needed to open the base cover and reach the M.2 slot, and what step do people often skip?

A Torx T5 driver removes the eight base screws; the step most people skip is disconnecting the battery cable before lifting the board shield to access the M.2 slot.

When the 32 GB DDR4 memory or the 256 GB NVMe SSD need replacement, what are the supported specifications?

Memory is soldered and not upgradeable; the M.2 slot accepts PCIe NVMe SSDs up to 1 TB, so a larger NVMe drive can replace the 256 GB unit later.
