Genuine Dell hinge cover for Latitude 7480 and 7490

This original equipment part replaces the rear middle hinge cover on Dell Latitude 7480 and 7490 laptops. It restores the protective shell that shields the hinge mechanism and display cables. Buyers needing a different laptop model or a full hinge assembly will not find a match here.

Snaps into place without tools or adhesives

Alignment tabs on the cover mate with the chassis slots; press gently until each tab clicks. Forcing the part before the tabs engage can snap the plastic clips. If the hinge itself is bent or the mounting posts are cracked, the cover will not sit flush and the underlying damage must be addressed first.
