Dell Latitude 7490 business laptop

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14.0 inch business laptop built for professionals who need a reliable Windows 11 Pro device. It runs on an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with a base frequency of 1.90 GHz and a maximum turbo frequency of 4.20 GHz. The system includes 8GB of DDR4 2400 memory and a 256GB solid-state drive. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles the visual output on the non-touch display.

Suits mobile workers needing a managed Windows 11

This configuration suits mobile workers who need a managed Windows 11 Pro laptop with a fingerprint reader and contactless smartcard reader for secure authentication. The 4-cell 60W battery and 65W adapter support typical office workflows. Buyers who require a dedicated graphics processor for rendering or gaming should consider a different system. Users needing more than 8GB of memory or a larger solid-state drive for heavy local data sets will find this specification limiting.

Quad-core i7-8650U with 8GB DDR4 and 256GB SSD

The single specification that decides fit is the Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor paired with 8GB of DDR4 2400 memory and a 256GB solid-state drive. This combination determines the laptop's ability to handle business multitasking and application load times. The 15W processor supports a maximum turbo frequency of 4.20 GHz with 8MB of cache. Verify that this memory capacity and storage size meet your workload requirements before purchase.
