Dell Latitude 7490 14 Business Laptop

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14 inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i5 8th Gen 1.60 GHz processor with 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 256 GB SSD. It runs Windows 10 Pro 64Bit on a 1920 x 1080 non-touch display with Intel UHD Graphics 620.

Suited For Mobile Professionals Not For Heavy

This configuration suits mobile professionals who need a lightweight 14.0 inch device for office applications, video calls and multitasking with 16 GB memory. Buyers who require dedicated graphics performance for rendering or gaming should look at alternatives with discrete GPUs.

16 GB DDR4 Memory Decides Upgrade Path

The installed 16 GB DDR4 memory uses two slots with a maximum supported capacity of 32 GB. This specification determines whether the laptop can handle your workload or if you need a system offering higher memory headroom from purchase.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the Dell Latitude 7490 and do I need to buy a charger separately?

The box includes the laptop and an AC adapter, which may be a new third-party unit or a used OEM original, so no separate charger purchase is needed.

Should I choose the 16 GB DDR4 configuration or upgrade to the 32 GB maximum supported memory?

The quad-core 1.6 GHz CPU and shared-memory UHD 620 graphics provide smooth Windows 10 Pro performance for office apps, web browsing and video playback.
