Genuine Dell Latitude 7490 14" IR Camera Bezel

This genuine Dell OEM front trim bezel replaces the LCD frame on a Latitude 7490 equipped with the optional infrared web camera. It restores the original appearance and protects the camera module and display edges. Buyers needing a bezel for a non-IR model or a different Latitude series cannot use this part.

Snap-in replacement requiring careful alignment

Installation involves removing the damaged bezel and pressing the new unit into the existing clips around the 14-inch panel. The IR camera cut-out must align precisely with the sensor window; forcing a misaligned bezel can crack the plastic or damage the camera flex cable. No tools beyond a plastic pry tool are typically needed.

Maintains structural integrity during daily

Once fitted, the bezel holds the LCD panel securely through repeated lid opening and closing. The plastic moulding resists flex during normal carry and dock insertion, keeping the IR camera sealed against dust. It does not affect hinge tension or display uniformity over extended use.
