Ready for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14-inch business laptop built around an Intel Core i7-8650U processor with four cores and a maximum turbo frequency of 4.20 GHz. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 2400 memory and a 512 GB M.2 2280 SATA SSD. The 1920 x 1080 non-touch display has an anti-glare finish and the system runs Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.

Verify power and port needs

Confirm that your existing 60 Whr battery meets your runtime expectations and that the included AC adapter matches your regional mains supply. The chassis provides one HDMI 1.4 output, three USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports (one with PowerShare), an optional DisplayPort over USB Type-C with Thunderbolt 3, an RJ45 jack, a universal audio jack and an SD 4.0 card reader.

Fits a compact managed fleet

Integrated UHD Graphics drive the internal panel and external displays without a discrete GPU, keeping the 3.09-pound weight low. Dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 handle wireless connectivity. The backlit dual-pointing keyboard, 720p webcam and Realtek ALC3246 audio support conference calls. No optical drive is fitted, freeing internal space for the SSD and battery.
