Built for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 13.9 inch business laptop with a touchscreen display. It runs on an Intel Core i7 8650U processor clocked at 1.90GHz. The system includes 8GB of memory and a 512GB drive. It targets users who need a compact device for office applications and travel.

Memory headroom and display clarity

Two memory slots exist in total with one currently free, allowing an upgrade path toward the 32GB maximum supported capacity. The 1920 x 1080 resolution touchscreen provides sharp visuals for documents and web content. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles the display output without a discrete graphics chip.

Steady performance for business workloads

The U series processor is designed for sustained efficiency inside a thin chassis rather than short bursts of maximum speed. Intel UHD Graphics 620 shares system memory for visual tasks. The platform suits continuous office workloads such as spreadsheets, email and video calls. It is not suited for buyers who need discrete graphics performance or higher multi-core throughput.
