DELL Latitude 7490 business laptop

The DELL Latitude 7490 is a 14.0" business laptop built around an Intel Core i7-8650U processor running at 1.90GHz. It ships with 8GB of memory and a 256GB solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro is installed and ready for professional use.

Chassis, connectivity and daily handling

The unit has been cosmetically rejuvenated and may show subtle signs of previous use while remaining fully functional. A webcam is integrated for video calls and wireless networking is included. An AC adapter is supplied, using either a new third-party or a used OEM charger, and the battery is functional.

Upgrade path and when the jump makes sense

This configuration replaces older machines limited to mechanical drives or lower memory capacities, delivering faster boot and application loading. The jump is worthwhile for users moving from systems without solid-state storage or with less than 8GB of RAM. Buyers who need more storage or additional memory slots should consider other models.
