Ready-to-use 14" business laptop

The Dell Latitude 7490 ships with Windows 10 Pro, an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor at 1.90GHz, 16GB of memory and a 256GB solid-state drive. A 14.0-inch 1920x1080 non-touch display, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI and three USB ports complete the feature set. It arrives in black with a backlit keyboard and AC power cord.

Ideal for mobile office work, not for heavy graphics

This configuration suits professionals who need a lightweight 14-inch machine for document editing, web apps and video calls on the move. The integrated graphics and fixed 16GB memory mean buyers who want more storage, discrete GPU performance or user-upgradeable RAM should look elsewhere.

Quad-core i7-8650U with 16GB soldered memory

The processor runs four cores at 1.90GHz and the 16GB capacity cannot be increased after purchase. If your workflow demands expandable memory or a higher core count, this specification makes the unit unsuitable.
