Questions about this item

How often will the 512 GB SSD need replacement under heavy write workloads?

The 512 GB SSD has no moving parts and is rated for typical endurance; replacement is only needed if the drive fails or capacity runs out.

What limits the Core i7-8650U during long rendering sessions?

The Intel UHD Graphics 620 and dual-core 1.90 GHz CPU reach their thermal ceiling first, reducing clock speeds to stay within the laptop's cooling capacity.

How loud and hot does the Latitude 7490 get when running flat-out all day?

The compact 14.0 inch chassis forces the fan to spin up noticeably; surface temperatures rise around the keyboard deck while the Intel UHD Graphics 620 and CPU share the same heat pipe.
