Business ultrabook for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14.0 inch laptop built for professionals who need a reliable Windows 10 Pro machine on the move. It combines an Intel Core i7-8650U processor with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe drive. The 1920 x 1080 FHD display provides a clear workspace for documents and web apps.

Sustained performance with integrated graphics

Under continuous load the quad-core Kaby Lake R CPU runs at its 1.90 GHz base frequency while the Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles display output without a discrete GPU. Thermal management in the compact chassis keeps the system stable during long office sessions. The PCIe SSD maintains consistent read and write speeds for large file transfers.

Single Thunderbolt 3 port for dock expansion

Connectivity hinges on one Thunderbolt 3 interface that carries data, video and charging through a single cable. Users who need multiple external monitors or high-speed storage arrays must verify that a single port satisfies their workflow. Buyers requiring additional native video outputs or legacy ports should look elsewhere.
