Purpose-built ultraportable

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14.0-inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor running at 1.9 GHz. It ships with 8GB of memory and a 256GB solid-state drive. The 1920 x 1080 display and up to 10 hours of battery life suit mobile professionals who need a reliable daily driver.

Straightforward deployment

The system arrives ready to use with Windows pre-installed and a single HDMI output for external displays. An integrated card reader simplifies media transfer. No optical drive is included and the keyboard is non-backlit, so low-light typing may require an external light source.

Steady thermals for long sessions

Under sustained workloads the ultra-low-voltage processor maintains consistent clocks without aggressive throttling. The compact 13.03 x 8.7 x 0.70-inch chassis dissipates heat quietly, keeping surface temperatures comfortable during extended office tasks or video playback.
