Mobile workstation for frequent travellers

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14.0 inch laptop powered by a quad-core Intel Core i7-8650U running at 1.9 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 4.2 GHz. It ships with 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 128 GB M.2 SATA SSD running Windows 11 Pro. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 uses shared system memory for everyday visual tasks.

Durable chassis with versatile docking

A black non-touch FHD LED display at 1920 x 1080 sits inside a slim, rugged frame built for daily transport. Connectivity includes three USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI output and a Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port for docks, projectors or external displays. Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and a microSD card reader complete the wired and wireless options. A 720p webcam supports video calls.

Efficient thermals for quiet office use

The low-power U-series processor and integrated graphics keep heat output modest during typical productivity workloads. Fan noise remains unobtrusive in standard use, and the compact charger supplies sufficient power without excess bulk. Battery life varies with workload but supports a full working day of document editing, browsing and video conferencing.
