15.6-inch touchscreen 2-in-1 laptop

The Dell Latitude 9520 is a 15.6-inch touchscreen 2-in-1 laptop running Windows 11 Pro. It uses an Intel Core i5 11th Gen processor with a minimum speed of 2.60GHz, 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD. The Full HD IPS display has a 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Suited for office work; not for memory upgrades

This device suits professionals who need a convertible laptop for standard productivity tasks. Buyers who want to upgrade system memory should look elsewhere because the unit has zero memory slots. Users needing a backlit keyboard or a discrete graphics processor will also need a different model.

Soldered 16GB memory prevents RAM upgrades

The single specification that decides fit is the memory configuration: 16GB is installed with no available slots for expansion. If your workload requires more than 16GB of RAM, this laptop cannot accommodate it.

Questions about this item

What operating system must already be installed to use the Windows 11 Pro recovery image on the 512 GB SSD?

The recovery image restores Windows 11 Pro directly on the 512 GB SSD; no separate operating system is required beforehand.

Can the 16 GB of installed memory be expanded later alongside the soldered modules?

The specification lists zero total memory slots, so the 16 GB cannot be expanded after purchase.

How can I verify the 15.6 inch 1920 x 1080 touchscreen is functioning correctly after first boot?

Open Settings, confirm the display shows 1920 x 1080 resolution, then tap the screen to check touch response.
