Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 15-inch FHD laptop with the i7-1185G7 and 65 W Type-C adapter get under all-day load?

The 49 WHr battery and 65 W Type-C adapter keep the Intel Core i7-1185G7 within its thermal envelope for typical business workloads; fan noise rises only during sustained heavy compute.

What must I already own to use the Thunderbolt 4 ports and Wi-Fi 6 on this Latitude 9520?

Thunderbolt 4 peripherals or docks and a Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) router or access point are required to use those interfaces at full speed.

Will my older USB-A monitors and HDMI projectors work with the i7-1185G7 and Iris Xe graphics?

Yes — the Thunderbolt 4 ports support USB-A and HDMI adapters, and Intel Iris Xe graphics drives legacy displays at up to 1920 x 1080 without extra drivers.
