This genuine Dell OEM base bottom cover fits the Latitude D420 and D430 notebooks. It arrives new and includes the integrated power button assembly. The part matches Dell part numbers NP913 and TJ984 for direct replacement. Doors, screws and speakers are not supplied with this unit.
Builders needing a complete lower case with doors, screws or speakers included should look elsewhere. This listing covers the base structure and power button only.

Remove the old base, align the new cover with the chassis screw holes, connect the power-button ribbon cable to the motherboard header, then secure all screws; the step often missed is reconnecting that ribbon before tightening the case.
The cover itself is structural plastic and rarely needs replacement; only the integrated power-button board or its flex cable may wear out and require a separate board swap.
