Dell Latitude E5450 14-inch FHD laptop

The Dell Latitude E5450 is a 14.0-inch business laptop with a 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch display. It runs on an Intel Core i7-5500U dual-core processor with a 3.00 GHz turbo frequency and Intel HD Graphics 5500. The system includes 8GB DDR3 memory and a new 2TB 2.5-inch SATA SSD. It ships with Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit installed.

Upgrading from older Latitude or HDD models

Replacing a hard-drive Latitude with this unit adds a new 2TB SSD for much faster boot and application load times. The jump is worth it when moving from a dual-core system limited to 4GB or 8GB RAM, because this model supports up to 16 GB across two slots. The 5th generation Core i7 also delivers higher turbo speeds than earlier low-voltage chips.

Mobile professionals needing screen space

This laptop suits mobile professionals who want a 14-inch FHD screen, ample 2TB storage and Windows 10 Home ready to use. It is not for buyers who want a touchscreen, discrete graphics or a lighter ultraportable chassis. Users needing more than 16 GB memory or a newer CPU architecture should look at something else.
