Latitude E5450 14.0" HD laptop

The Dell Latitude E5450 is a 14.0 inch HD laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-5600U dual-core processor running at 2.60 GHz with a turbo frequency of 3.20 GHz. It comes with 16GB of DDR3 memory and a new 1TB SSD using a 2.5 inch SATA interface. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed.

Suitable for office work and legacy Windows 10

This configuration suits users who need a 14 inch non-touch display at 1366 x 768 resolution and Intel HD Graphics 5500 for everyday productivity. Buyers who require more than two processor cores, a higher screen resolution than 1366 x 768, or storage speeds beyond the SATA interface should consider other options.

Maximum memory capped at 16GB

The system supports a total of 16GB across two memory slots, and this unit already populates that limit with 16GB of DDR3. No further memory upgrades are possible, so the installed capacity is the final capacity for the lifetime of the device.

Questions about this item

Can I keep using my existing DDR3 memory modules with the 16GB already installed in this Latitude E5450?

The laptop has two memory slots and the maximum supported capacity is 16GB, which is already fitted, so there is no free slot for additional DDR3 modules.

How can I verify the Intel HD Graphics 5500 is running correctly after I set up Windows 10 Pro?

Open Device Manager, expand Display adapters and confirm Intel HD Graphics 5500 appears without a warning icon; then run the DirectX Diagnostic Tool to see the driver version and test 3D rendering.

Does the box include a 2.5" SATA caddy or cable for the 1TB SSD, or do I need to buy one separately?

The 1TB SSD is already installed in the 2.5" SATA bay, so no extra caddy or cable is required for the drive itself.
