Dell Latitude E5450 business laptop

The Dell Latitude E5450 is a 14 inch business laptop built around a 2.90 GHz Intel Core i5 5th Gen processor with 4GB of DDR3 memory and a 128GB solid state drive. It ships with Windows 10 Home 64 bit pre-installed and features a non-touch 14.0 inch display in a black chassis. Two memory slots support up to 16GB total capacity.

Target user and limitations

Suits professionals needing a lightweight Windows 10 machine for office applications, email and web browsing on the move. The 128GB SSD and 4GB RAM limit users who work with large media libraries, virtual machines or modern multitasking workloads. No Bluetooth or 802.11ac Wi-Fi means peripheral and wireless flexibility is reduced. Only two USB ports are available for accessories.

Deciding specification

The 128GB SSD is the single specification that decides suitability; it provides fast boot and application launch but offers minimal space for local files, so buyers who need more storage should consider other options.
