Business laptop with 14-inch HD display

The Dell Latitude E5450 is a 14.0-inch HD laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-5600U dual-core processor at 2.60 GHz with a 3.20 GHz turbo frequency. It comes with 16GB DDR3 memory and a new 1TB 2.5-inch SATA SSD. Windows 10 Home 64-bit is pre-installed for immediate use.

Suitable for office work.

This configuration suits professionals who need a reliable Windows 10 machine for documents, web apps and video calls with the integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500 and built-in webcam. Buyers who require a touchscreen, a higher resolution panel or more than 16GB of memory should look elsewhere.

Memory capped at 16GB DDR3 across two slots

The system supports a maximum of 16GB DDR3 spread over two memory slots, and this unit already ships at that limit. No further RAM upgrades are possible, so the installed capacity is also the final capacity for the life of the device.

Questions about this item

How does the 2.60 GHz base and 3.20 GHz turbo on the Core i7-5600U feel in daily office work?

The dual-core chip runs at 2.60 GHz and can boost to 3.20 GHz, so web browsing, document editing and video calls stay responsive without thermal throttling in the 14.0" chassis.

What does the SATA interface mean for the 1 TB SSD in this Latitude?

The 2.5" SATA drive connects through the SATA bus, giving consistent read and write speeds for the operating system and applications installed on the 1 TB volume.

Will the 16 GB DDR3 memory fit the two slots inside this E5450?

Yes — the system has two memory slots and supports a maximum of 16 GB, so the installed 16 GB DDR3 already fills the supported capacity.
