Compatibility checks before ordering

Verify that the 1366 x 768 resolution meets your workspace requirements for text clarity and screen area. Confirm that the 240GB storage capacity is sufficient for your applications and files. The memory is configured at the maximum supported 16GB across two slots, so no further RAM upgrades are possible.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

The Intel HD Graphics 5500 integrated GPU handles visual output without a discrete graphics card, which helps contain heat and noise during typical office tasks. The dual-core U-series processor is designed for efficient power draw in thin-and-light chassis. Expect quiet operation for general productivity workloads.

Questions about this item

Does the laptop ship with the power adapter and Windows licence, or must I buy them separately?

The unit arrives with Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit already installed; a power adapter is included in the box.

Should I pick the 16 GB DDR3 configuration or look for a higher-capacity option?

The motherboard has two memory slots and is limited to 16 GB total, so this 16 GB DDR3 build is already the maximum supported.

Will the 2.60 GHz Core i7-5600U hold its speed during a long compile job?

The dual-core processor can boost to 3.20 GHz when thermal headroom allows, so sustained performance depends on the cooling solution in the chassis.
