Business-ready 14-inch laptop

The Dell Latitude E5470 is a 14.0-inch HD laptop built around an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor running at 2.60 GHz with a 3.40 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 8GB of DDR3 memory and a new 240GB SATA SSD, and Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 handles everyday visual tasks.

Fits standard business workflows

The 2.5-inch SATA drive bay allows straightforward storage expansion without proprietary parts. Two memory slots support up to 16 GB of DDR3 for heavier multitasking. A 1366 x 768 non-touch display keeps power draw modest for mobile use. Bluetooth and a webcam are integrated for communication needs.

Steps up from older dual-core ultraportables

The 6th-generation Core i7 and fresh SSD replace sluggish mechanical drives and earlier low-voltage chips, delivering snappier boot and application load times. Buyers who want more storage than 240 GB or a higher-resolution panel should look elsewhere. The 365-day parts and labour warranty covers the transition period.

How loud and hot does the E5470 get during all-day use?
