Dell Latitude E5470 i7-6820HQ 16GB

The Dell Latitude E5470 is a 14.0-inch HD laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-6820HQ processor running at 2.70 GHz with a 3.60 GHz turbo frequency. It comes equipped with 16GB of DDR3 memory and a new 500GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. The system ships without an operating system installed.

Best for portable productivity without OS

This laptop suits professionals needing a compact 1366 x 768 display, quad-core performance and fast NVMe storage in a black chassis. It is not for buyers who require a touchscreen, a pre-installed Windows licence, more than 16GB of memory or a higher-resolution panel.

500GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD decides fit

The single specification that determines compatibility is the 500GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. Verify that your software suite and data set fit within this capacity and that your workflow can operate on the Intel HD Graphics 530 integrated GPU.

Questions about this item

How does the i7-6820HQ at 2.70 GHz with 3.60 GHz turbo perform in everyday workloads?

The quad-core processor runs at 2.70 GHz base and can boost to 3.60 GHz, so office apps, web browsing and light multitasking stay responsive while the 16GB DDR3 keeps multiple tabs and documents open without swapping.

What does the M.2 NVMe PCIe interface mean for the 500GB SSD speed?

The 500GB drive uses an M.2 NVMe PCIe connection, giving much quicker boot and application load times than a traditional hard drive.

Will this 14.0" chassis fit in a standard 14-inch laptop sleeve or bag?

The 14.0" HD non-touch screen sits in a black Latitude E5470 body built to typical 14-inch dimensions, so it slides into most sleeves and briefcases made for that screen size.
