Product Identity

The Dell Latitude E5570 is a 15.6 inch FHD laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-6300U dual-core processor at 2.40 GHz with a turbo frequency of 3.00 GHz. It ships with 16 GB DDR3 memory and a new 240 GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. Windows 10 Home 64-bit is pre-installed.

Capacity and Headroom

The 240 GB SSD provides fast boot and application loading for office suites, web browsing and light creative work. The 16 GB memory is the maximum supported by the two slots, so multitasking headroom is fixed at this level. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 handles basic video playback and productivity visuals but runs out of steam with modern 3D titles or GPU-accelerated rendering.

Deciding Specification

The 15.6 inch 1920 x 1080 non-touch display and the dual-core i5-6300U define the class of work this machine can sustain. Buyers who need more storage, discrete graphics, a touchscreen or upgradeable memory beyond 16 GB should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 2.40 GHz i5-6300U and 16GB DDR3 keep pace with my older DDR3 desktop when I move files over the local network?

The dual-core processor runs at 2.40 GHz with a 3.00 GHz turbo, and the 16GB DDR3 matches the system's maximum supported memory, so large network transfers will be limited by the network link rather than the laptop's memory or CPU.

How can I confirm the 15.6" FHD panel and Intel HD Graphics 520 are running at the native 1920 x 1080 resolution after first boot?

Open Settings > System > Display and verify the resolution slider shows 1920 x 1080 as the recommended setting; the Intel HD Graphics 520 driver will also list the native resolution in its control panel.

Does the box include a power adapter for the 240GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD laptop, or do I need to buy one separately?

The laptop ships with its original Dell power adapter, the pre-installed 240GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD, 16GB DDR3 memory and Windows 10 Home 64-bit already installed; no extra parts are required to start working.
