Purpose-built laptop

The Dell Latitude E5570 is a 15.6 inch HD laptop for professionals who need a reliable Windows 10 Pro machine. It runs on an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor with a 3.40 GHz turbo frequency and 8GB DDR3 memory. The 1TB NVMe SSD provides fast storage for documents and applications.

Build and connectivity

The black chassis houses a non-touch 1366 x 768 display and integrated Intel HD Graphics 520. Two memory slots support up to 16 GB total RAM for future expansion. Standard business ports and a webcam handle daily video calls and peripheral connections without extra adapters.

Upgrade perspective

This unit replaces older hard-drive laptops with a new 1TB NVMe drive that cuts boot and load times. The 6th generation Core i7 suits office suites and light multitasking but is not for buyers who want more storage bays, discrete graphics or a higher-resolution screen.

Questions about this item

Does the M.2 NVMe PCIe slot run at PCIe 3.0 x4 speeds?

The 1 TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD uses the platform's PCIe lanes; the chipset limits throughput to PCIe 3.0 x4.

What screw size secures the M.2 2280 drive?

A single M2 × 3 mm standoff screw holds the 2280 module in the M.2 slot.

Which BIOS setting must be enabled for the NVMe drive to appear as a boot device?

Set Boot Mode to UEFI and ensure Secure Boot is on so the Windows 10 Pro installer detects the NVMe SSD.
