Dell Latitude E5570 15.6" business laptop

The Dell Latitude E5570 is a 15.6-inch laptop built for office work and mobile professionals. It runs on an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor with a 3.40 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 8GB of DDR3 memory and a 1TB NVMe solid-state drive. Windows 10 Home 64-bit comes pre-installed.

Upgrade from mechanical drives and lower RAM

Replacing a traditional hard drive with the 1TB NVMe SSD dramatically cuts boot and application load times. Moving from 4GB to the installed 8GB of DDR3 allows smoother multitasking with multiple browser tabs and office documents. The maximum supported memory is 16 GB across two slots for future expansion.

HD 1366 x 768 display limits detail work

The 15.6-inch HD panel resolves at 1366 x 768, which fits standard business applications side by side. Fine text in large spreadsheets or high-resolution photo editing may appear less sharp than on higher-density screens. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 handles video playback and basic visual tasks without discrete graphics overhead.

Questions about this item

What size M.2 SSD slot does the Latitude E5570 use for the 1TB NVMe drive?

The laptop includes a 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD already installed in its M.2 slot.

Which screw or latch secures the bottom cover when upgrading the 8GB DDR3 memory?

Remove the base screws, lift the cover, then press the SO-DIMM modules into the two slots until they click.

When will the original 8GB DDR3 memory need replacement if I expand to 16GB later?

The two slots support up to 16GB total; adding a matching 8GB DDR3 module now avoids future replacement.
