Dell Latitude E5570 overview

The Dell Latitude E5570 is a 15.6 inch FHD laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-6200U processor running at 2.30 GHz with a turbo frequency of 2.80 GHz. It includes 8GB of DDR3 memory and a new 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe solid-state drive. The system ships with Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 64-bit pre-installed and uses integrated Intel HD Graphics 520.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This laptop suits professionals needing a portable Windows 10 machine with a 1920 x 1080 display, dual-core performance and fast NVMe storage for office applications. Buyers who require a touchscreen, discrete graphics, more than 16 GB of memory or a newer processor generation should consider other options.

Storage interface and capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD, which provides high-speed storage on a modern interface. The board supports a maximum of 16 GB across two DDR3 slots, so memory upgrades are possible within that limit.

Questions about this item

Will the 1TB NVMe drive fit my existing M.2 slot?

The drive uses an M.2 form factor with a PCIe NVMe interface, so it requires a compatible M.2 slot that supports NVMe signalling.

Can I keep my current 8GB DDR3 module and add another to reach the 16GB limit?

Yes, the laptop has two DDR3 slots and supports up to 16GB total, so adding an identical 8GB DDR3 module will reach the maximum capacity.

How can I verify the Intel HD Graphics 520 is active after installing Windows 10 Pro?

Open Device Manager, expand Display adapters, and confirm Intel HD Graphics 520 appears without a warning icon; the driver version should show under Properties.
