Dell Latitude E5570 15.6 inch HD laptop

The Dell Latitude E5570 is a 15.6 inch HD laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-6200U dual-core processor running at 2.30 GHz with a turbo frequency of 2.80 GHz. It comes with 8GB of DDR3 memory and a new 500GB M.2 NVMe PCIe solid-state drive. The system ships with no operating system installed, so the buyer must provide their own Windows or alternative OS licence. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 handles the 1366 x 768 display.

Memory slots and storage interface

Two memory slots are available in total, supporting a maximum of 16 GB of DDR3 for future upgrades. The 500GB NVMe drive connects via an M.2 PCIe interface, leaving no 2.5 inch hard-drive bay occupied. Bluetooth and a built-in webcam are integrated, requiring no extra peripherals for basic wireless input or video calls. The absence of a pre-loaded OS frees the full drive capacity for a clean installation.

Capacity for everyday workloads

The 500GB NVMe SSD provides fast boot and application loading for typical office, web and streaming tasks. 8GB of RAM handles multi-tab browsing and standard productivity suites comfortably, while the 16 GB ceiling allows headroom for heavier multitasking later. The dual-core i5-6200U and HD Graphics 520 combination runs out of steam with modern gaming, video editing or large dataset processing. Buyers needing dedicated graphics, higher resolution screens or more than 16 GB of memory should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 8 GB DDR3 and dual-core i5-6200U become the bottleneck during long compiles or heavy multitasking?

The system ships with 8 GB DDR3 across two slots and supports up to 16 GB, so sustained workloads that exceed 8 GB will hit the memory ceiling first.

How loud or hot does the E5570 get when the Intel HD Graphics 520 and CPU run continuously?

The 15 W U-series chip and integrated HD 520 share a compact thermal design; expect noticeable fan spin and warm palm rests after several hours of full load.

Since no operating system is included, what must I provide before the laptop will boot?

You need a bootable Windows or Linux installer on a USB stick and a valid licence key for the OS you choose to install.
