Dell Latitude E5570 business laptop

The Dell Latitude E5570 is a 15.6 inch HD business laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-6300U dual-core processor with a base frequency of 2.40 GHz and a turbo frequency of 3.00 GHz. It comes with 8GB of DDR3 memory and a new 240GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. The system ships without an operating system installed.

Sustained workload behaviour

Under continuous load the dual-core processor can reach its 3.00 GHz turbo frequency while the integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 handles display output at 1366 x 768 resolution. The 240GB NVMe SSD maintains consistent read and write speeds during extended file transfers or application loading. The 8GB DDR3 memory supports multitasking within its capacity limit.

Compatibility checklist

Verify that your workflow can operate without a pre-installed operating system as none is included with this unit. Confirm that 8GB of memory meets your application requirements since the two slots support a maximum of 16GB total. Ensure the 1366 x 768 HD display resolution suits your visual workspace needs.

Questions about this item

How much heat and fan noise should I expect from the Core i5-6300U with its 2.40 GHz base and 3.00 GHz turbo during all-day use?

The dual-core i5-6300U runs at 2.40 GHz base and 3.00 GHz turbo; its low thermal design keeps fan noise modest during typical office workloads, though sustained turbo loads will spin the fan higher.

The listing says No Operating System — what must I supply myself to make the laptop boot?

You must provide a licensed copy of Windows or another OS and install it yourself; the 240 GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD is blank and ready for your installation media.

Will my existing DDR3 SODIMMs work alongside the 8 GB already installed to reach the 16 GB maximum?

Yes — the board has two DDR3 slots supporting up to 16 GB total, so you can add a matching 8 GB stick to fill the second slot.
