Purpose-built mobile workstation

The Dell Latitude E5570 is a 15.6 inch laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor running at 2.60 GHz with a 3.40 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 16GB of DDR3 memory and a new 240GB 2.5 inch SATA SSD. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed on the HD non-touch display.

Ready-to-deploy configuration

The included 240GB SSD replaces any mechanical drive for faster boot and application load times. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR3 RAM fills both memory slots to the 16 GB maximum supported by the platform. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit arrives activated so the system is productive immediately after first power-on.

Display resolution constraint

The 15.6 inch panel is limited to 1366 x 768 HD resolution, which determines the amount of on-screen workspace available for documents or browser windows. Buyers who need more screen real estate for side-by-side editing or higher pixel density should consider a model with a Full HD or higher resolution panel.

Questions about this item

Can the 240GB SSD be swapped for a larger 2.5" SATA drive later?

Yes, the laptop uses a standard 2.5" SATA SSD, so any compatible 2.5" SATA drive can be installed as a replacement.

Will the dual-core i7-6600U throttle at its 3.40 GHz turbo under long workloads?

Sustained turbo speeds depend on the cooling system keeping the processor within thermal limits during extended heavy use.

How loud does the cooling fan get when the Intel HD Graphics 520 and CPU run all day?

Fan noise rises with temperature; under continuous load the system will spin the fan faster to keep the i7-6600U and integrated graphics cool.
