Dell Latitude E5570 15.6 inch HD laptop

The Dell Latitude E5570 is a 15.6 inch laptop with a 1366 x 768 HD display. It runs on an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor with a base speed of 2.60 GHz and a turbo frequency of 3.40 GHz. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 handles visual output. The unit ships with 8GB of DDR3 memory and a new 240GB 2.5 inch SATA SSD. No operating system is included.

Suitable for office tasks and OS flexibility

This laptop suits buyers who want a ready-to-use chassis for a clean Windows or Linux installation. The 8GB RAM and 240GB SSD support typical productivity workloads and web browsing. Two memory slots allow an upgrade to 16GB total capacity. It is not for users who need a touchscreen, a higher resolution panel, discrete graphics for creative work, or a device that arrives with a licensed OS pre-installed.

240GB SSD and 16GB memory ceiling

The 240GB SATA SSD provides enough space for the operating system, core applications and a modest document library. Heavy media libraries or large project files will require external storage. Memory tops out at 16GB across two slots, which covers multitasking with standard business software. The integrated GPU and HD panel limit 3D rendering, video editing and modern gaming performance.

Questions about this item

What operating system must I provide for this Latitude E5570?

The laptop ships with no operating system installed. You will need to acquire and install your own copy of Windows or another OS before the machine is usable.

Will my existing 2.5-inch SATA drives work in this unit?

Yes. The storage bay accepts 2.5-inch SATA drives, so any compatible SATA SSD or hard drive you already own can be installed.

How can I verify the Intel HD Graphics 520 is active after setup?

Open Device Manager in Windows and check Display adapters; Intel HD Graphics 520 should be listed there with no error icon.
