Dell Latitude E5570 15.6-inch FHD laptop

The Dell Latitude E5570 is a 15.6-inch FHD laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor with a turbo frequency of 3.40 GHz. It comes with 8GB of DDR3 memory and a new 500GB 2.5-inch SATA SSD. The system runs Windows 10 Home 64-bit and uses Intel HD Graphics 520 for display output.

SATA storage and DDR3 memory limits

The laptop uses a 2.5-inch SATA interface for its 500GB SSD, which caps sequential transfer speeds at the SATA III maximum. Memory is provided as 8GB of DDR3 across two slots, with a manufacturer ceiling of 16GB total, so upgrades beyond that capacity are not supported by this platform.

Dual-core U-series processor for mobile workloads

The Intel Core i7-6600U is a 15-watt dual-core chip designed for thin-and-light mobility rather than sustained heavy compute. Buyers who need higher multi-thread throughput or discrete graphics performance should consider a different class of system.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 500GB SSD or look for a larger capacity?

The 500GB SSD is the only storage fitted; the 2.5-inch SATA bay can accept a larger SATA drive if you need more space later.

What does the 3.40 GHz turbo frequency deliver in daily use?

The dual-core i7-6600U boosts to 3.40 GHz for short bursts, speeding single-thread tasks such as web browsing and document editing before returning to 2.60 GHz.

Is the SATA interface fast enough for the 500GB SSD?

Yes, the SATA link caps the SSD at typical SATA speeds, which is ample for the 500GB drive and general office workloads.
