Product identity

The Dell Latitude E5570 is a 15.6 inch HD laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor running at 2.60 GHz with a turbo frequency of 3.40 GHz. It comes with 8GB of DDR3 memory and a new 500GB 2.5 inch SATA SSD. No operating system is installed, so the buyer must provide their own.

Deciding specification

The display resolution is 1366 x 768 pixels on a non-touch HD panel, which determines the visual workspace available for office tasks and web browsing. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 handles video output without a discrete GPU. Buyers needing a higher resolution screen or dedicated graphics for creative work should look elsewhere.

Build integration

The system includes two memory slots supporting up to 16 GB total, allowing a future upgrade from the factory 8 GB. The 2.5 inch SATA SSD can be replaced or supplemented if additional storage is required. Wireless connectivity and a webcam are built in for remote collaboration. The laptop ships new without an OS, freeing the user to install their preferred platform.
