Dell Latitude E5570 quad-core laptop

The Dell Latitude E5570 is a 15.6-inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-6820HQ quad-core processor running at 2.70 GHz with a 3.60 GHz turbo frequency. It comes with 16GB of DDR3 memory and a new 240GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. Windows 10 Home 64-bit is pre-installed on the device.

Suits office work; not for high-res or GPU tasks

This laptop suits professionals who need a reliable machine for documents, email and web browsing on a 1366 x 768 HD display. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 530 handles basic video output only. Buyers who need a touchscreen, a higher resolution panel or discrete graphics for creative workloads should look at something else.

16GB DDR3 memory soldered to maximum

The system ships with 16GB of DDR3 RAM across two slots and the manufacturer lists 16 GB as the maximum supported capacity. No further memory upgrades are possible beyond this configuration. The 240GB NVMe SSD provides the primary storage and can be replaced if more space is required.

Questions about this item

Does the 16 GB DDR3 memory fill both slots on the Latitude E5570?

The laptop has two memory slots and ships with the maximum supported 16 GB, so both slots are already populated.

Will the Intel HD Graphics 530 drive an older 1080p monitor over HDMI?

The integrated Intel HD Graphics 530 supports external displays up to 4K, so a 1080p monitor will work without issue.

How can I confirm the 240 GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD is recognised at full speed?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, choose the drive and verify the interface shows NVMe with PCIe link speed.
