Questions about this item

Should I pick the i5 or i7 version of the E6530?

The i7 model runs at 2.90 GHz with dual cores and Hyper-Threading, giving four threads for heavier multitasking; the i5 runs slower and suits lighter workloads.

What does the 2.90 GHz i7 actually deliver in daily use?

The 3rd Gen dual-core i7 at 2.90 GHz handles office apps, web browsing and video playback smoothly, while the 8 GB DDR3 keeps multiple tabs responsive.

Which wireless standard is built in and what speed does it cap at?

The laptop includes 802.11 g/n Wi-Fi, so real-world throughput tops out around the n-rated ceiling rather than newer ac or ax speeds.
