Compact business laptop

The Dell Latitude E7250 is a 12.5 inch notebook powered by an Intel Core i5-5300U processor running at 2.3 GHz. It comes with 8 GB of DDR3 memory and a 256 GB solid-state drive. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed. The 1366 by 768 display is non-touch and includes a backlit keyboard and integrated webcam.

Suited for light office work on the move

This unit fits users who need a small, lightweight machine for email, document editing and web browsing while travelling. Buyers who require a higher resolution screen, a touchscreen, more than 8 GB of memory or a dedicated graphics processor should consider other options. The Grade C cosmetic condition means visible wear such as scratches, dents and worn key labels are present.

Handles everyday productivity within its limits

The 256 GB drive provides enough space for the operating system, applications and a modest working file set. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500 manages standard video playback and desktop compositing without difficulty. Demanding tasks such as video editing, 3D rendering or modern gaming will exceed the capabilities of the dual-core processor and integrated graphics.

Questions about this item

What operating system must already be licensed for the Intel Core i5-5300U 2.3GHz processor to run Windows 10 Pro x64?

Windows 10 Pro x64 is pre-installed and activated on the 256GB solid state drive, so no separate licence is required for the Intel Core i5-5300U 2.3GHz processor to run it.

Will the 12.5" 1366x768 non-touch display work with an older VGA monitor if the laptop's video port is damaged?

The supplier notes the video port such as VGA might be broken, so an older VGA monitor cannot be relied upon; the built-in 12.5" 1366x768 screen remains the primary display.

How can I verify the 8GB DDR3 memory and Intel HD Graphics 5500 are active after first boot?

Open Task Manager Performance tab to confirm 8GB DDR3 appears under Memory and Intel HD Graphics 5500 is listed under GPU.
