Dell Latitude E7250 12.5 inch business laptop

The Dell Latitude E7250 is a 12.5 inch laptop built for mobile professionals. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i5-5300U processor at 2.30GHz with 8GB of memory. A 512GB solid state drive provides fast storage for documents and applications. Integrated Intel HD Graphics handles the display output.

Suits frequent travellers needing a compact

This ultraportable suits users who value a small footprint and wired network connectivity via gigabit LAN. Buyers who want a touchscreen display should look elsewhere. Anyone requiring a dedicated graphics processor for intensive visual workloads will need a different system. The two memory slots allow future expansion if required.

512GB SSD determines storage capacity

The 512GB solid state drive sets the total space available for the operating system, programmes and user files. No mechanical hard drive is fitted, so all data resides on this single volume. Users with large media libraries or multiple virtual machines should verify this capacity meets their needs before purchase.

Questions about this item

What screw pattern does the 12.5" Dell Latitude E7250 use for its 512GB SSD?

The system takes a standard 2.5-inch drive; remove the bottom cover, slide the 512GB unit into the caddy and secure it with the four chassis screws.

Which step do buyers often skip when reinstalling Windows 10 Pro on the E7250?

After the clean install, download the Intel HD Graphics driver and the 802.11n wireless package from Dell support before the first reboot.

Which user-replaceable parts will the E7250 need over its life?

The 8GB memory uses two SODIMM slots, the 512GB SSD is a removable 2.5-inch drive, and the internal coin-cell battery can be swapped when the clock drifts.
