Compact 12.5-inch business laptop

The Dell Latitude E7250 combines a 12.5-inch non-touch display with an Intel Core i7-5600U processor running at 2.60GHz. Eight gigabytes of memory and a 256GB solid-state drive provide responsive everyday performance. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment in managed environments.

Upgrade from older ultraportables

Replacing a slower dual-core machine or a mechanical-drive system yields noticeable gains in boot time and multitasking. The jump is worth it when your workflow demands quick application switching and reliable wired connectivity through the gigabit LAN port. The two memory slots allow future expansion if workloads grow.

256GB SSD capacity and headroom

The solid-state drive comfortably handles the operating system, office suites and a moderate local file library. Heavy media libraries or large virtual machines will exhaust the 256GB space quickly. Eight gigabytes of RAM supports typical productivity tabs and documents but reaches limits with intensive creative or development workloads.

Questions about this item

Will the 12.5 inch Dell Latitude E7250 fit in a standard laptop sleeve?

The 12.5 inch form factor fits most sleeves made for ultraportable notebooks; measure your bag's internal width and depth against the chassis to be sure.

Which screws secure the bottom cover when upgrading the 8GB memory or 256GB SSD?

Remove the nine Torx T5 screws on the base, then pry the cover from the front edge; the two SODIMM slots and M.2 slot are exposed immediately.

How often should the cooling fan and thermal paste be serviced on the i7-5600U model?

Clean the fan vents every six months and replace the CPU thermal paste every two years to keep the 2.60GHz processor running at full speed.
