Portable business laptop for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude E7250 is a 12.5-inch laptop built for people who travel or meet clients regularly. It runs Windows 10 Home on an Intel Core i5-5300U dual-core processor at 2.3 GHz with 16 GB of DDR3 memory and a 128 GB mSATA SSD. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500 drives the 1366 x 768 non-touch display. HDMI and mini DisplayPort outputs connect to projectors or external screens.

Ready to use with minimal setup

The unit ships with a charger and battery installed so it powers on immediately. Windows 10 Home is pre-loaded and activated. A Grade B LCD rating means the screen may show minor wear such as light scratches or uneven backlight; the chassis can have worn keys or touchpad surfaces. No optical drive is fitted, so any legacy media must be read through an external USB device.

Verify your workflow fits the fixed specification

Memory is soldered at 16 GB and cannot be upgraded beyond that limit. The 128 GB mSATA SSD is the only internal storage slot; confirm that capacity covers your local files and applications. Wireless support is 802.11n or better and wired LAN is gigabit; check that your network infrastructure matches. The 1366 x 768 panel is non-touch, so touch-centric workflows are not supported.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the 12.5" 1366 x 768 display and Intel Core i5-5300U are running correctly after first boot?

Open Windows Settings > System > Display to confirm the 1366 x 768 resolution, then open Task Manager > Performance > CPU and check that Intel Core i5-5300U @ 2.3 GHz with 2 cores and 3 MB cache is shown.

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately for this Grade B unit?

The shipment includes the laptop, charger and battery; the supplier notes no optical drive, so an external USB DVD drive is needed if you use discs, and any docking station or extra cables are sold separately.

Which version should I choose between the listed Windows 10 Home and the Windows 11 Pro upgrade option?

Windows 10 Home is pre-installed and fully licensed; the Windows 11 Pro upgrade is offered as a paid option if you need Pro features such as BitLocker or domain join, otherwise the installed Home edition runs the 16 GB DDR3 and 128 GB mSATA SSD without limitation.
