Compact business ultraportable

The Dell Latitude E7250 is a 12.5 inch laptop built around an Intel Core i5-5300U dual-core processor running at 2.3 GHz. It ships with 16 GB of DDR3 memory and a 256 GB mSATA SSD. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500 drives the 1366 x 768 non-touch display. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed.

Verify power and display needs

Confirm your existing charger delivers the correct voltage for this ultraportable. The panel is a non-touch 12.5 inch screen at 1366 x 768 resolution, so check that your docking station or external monitor supports this native resolution over HDMI or mini DisplayPort. Only three USB 3.0 ports are available for peripherals.

Replaces older 12 inch business notebooks

This unit upgrades from earlier Latitude models that shipped with 4 GB or 8 GB of memory and mechanical hard drives. The jump to 16 GB DDR3 and a 256 GB SSD is worthwhile when daily workloads include multiple browser tabs, Office suites and light virtualisation. Buyers who need a touchscreen, higher resolution panel or user-upgradeable memory should look elsewhere.
