Compact business laptop

The Dell Latitude E7250 is a 12.5-inch Windows 10 Home laptop built around an Intel Core i5-5300U dual-core processor running at 2.3 GHz with 8 GB of DDR3 memory and a 128 GB mSATA SSD. It integrates Intel HD Graphics 5500, a 1366 x 768 non-touch display, HDMI and mini DisplayPort outputs, gigabit LAN and 802.11 wireless. The unit is new with a Grade B LCD showing cosmetic wear.

Travel-focused professionals

This ultra-portable suits mobile workers who need legacy ports such as HDMI, mini DisplayPort, three USB 3.0 ports and an SD card reader for projectors, peripherals and quick file transfer. Buyers who want a high-resolution panel, touchscreen input, faster storage speeds or newer wireless standards should consider other options.

128 GB mSATA SSD

The 128 GB mSATA solid-state drive determines whether the laptop has enough local capacity for your OS, applications and working files without relying on external storage or cloud sync.

Questions about this item

How do I install the mSATA SSD and what step is often missed?

The 128 GB mSATA drive slots into the internal connector; the step people miss is securing it with the small retention screw so it cannot work loose.

What maintenance or replacement will the 8 GB DDR3 memory need later?

The system supports up to 16 GB, so the only future action is adding a second DDR3 module if you need more capacity.

At what point does the Intel HD Graphics 5500 become the limit during sustained workloads?

The integrated GPU shares system memory and has no dedicated VRAM, so graphics-intensive tasks hit that ceiling first.
