Refurbished business ultraportable

The DELL Latitude E7250 is a refurbished 12.5" laptop built for mobile professionals who need a compact Windows 10 Pro machine. It ships with an Intel Core i5-5300U processor at 2.3 GHz, 8 GB DDR3L memory and a 256 GB SSD. The non-touch screen keeps the chassis thin and light for daily carry.

Thermals and power in daily use

The low-voltage i5-5300U runs cool during typical office workloads such as email, browsing and document editing. Fan noise stays subdued under light multitasking and only becomes audible during sustained heavy tasks. Power draw remains modest, so the integrated battery delivers a full workday away from a desk.

Build quality and daily connectivity

An aluminium black chassis meets MIL-STD durability expectations for a business ultraportable. Ports include USB 3.0 for fast peripheral access, Gigabit Ethernet for wired docking and Wi-Fi AGN for wireless networks. A 720p webcam supports video calls, while the spill-resistant keyboard and precision touchpad withstand heavy daily typing.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 256GB SSD in the E7250, and what step is often missed?

Remove the base cover, insert the drive into the internal slot, secure it with the screw, then initialise the disk in Windows 10 Pro before use.

What maintenance or replacement will the 8GB DDR3L memory need later?

The memory is soldered and cannot be upgraded; keep the system clean and monitor usage in Task Manager to avoid slowdowns.

What limit appears first on the i5-5300U at 2.3GHz under sustained load?

The dual-core processor hits thermal limits quickly, causing frequency throttling during long heavy workloads.
