Compact Business Ultrabook

The Dell Latitude E7250 is a 12.5 inch ultrabook built for mobile professionals who need a durable, managed Windows 10 Pro device. Its Intel Core i7-5600U dual-core processor reaches 3.2 GHz and pairs with 8 GB of DDR3L memory and a 256 GB SSD for responsive everyday productivity.

Thermals and Power

A 130 W power adapter supplies the system while the 4-cell lithium-ion battery delivers more than five hours of typical use. The MIL-STD 810G tested chassis includes a spill-proof keyboard, and integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500 keeps heat and noise low during office workloads.

Deciding Specification

The 1366 by 768 HD non-touch display determines whether this screen size and resolution suit your workflow; users needing higher pixel density or touch input should consider other models.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 256 GB SSD and which step is often missed?

The 256 GB SSD fits into the internal M.2 slot; the step often missed is re-enabling the drive in the BIOS after the physical swap so Windows 10 Pro can detect it.

What maintenance will the 4-cell lithium-ion battery need later?

The 4-cell lithium-ion battery will eventually hold less than the rated 5-plus hours and should be replaced with a Dell-compatible 4-cell pack when run-time becomes unacceptable.

What limit appears first during sustained heavy workloads?

The Intel HD Graphics 5500 uses shared system memory, so extended 3-D or video tasks hit the 8 GB DDR3L ceiling before the processor reaches its 3.2 GHz turbo ceiling.
